Right now I can't believe two things.
1. It's Friday
2. I'm still not completely recovered from Wausau
I shouldn't be surprised by #2 but it never fails to amaze me how slow I am at recovering. All I know is that I better have a miracle recovery in the next 20 hours because I'm racing tomorrow at Pando!
My coach didn't have me do much in regards to training this week. I had Sunday and Monday completely off. Tuesday I got back on my bike for an hour and my legs were like, "uh-uh." They basically felt like they each weighed 100 pounds. It was a very, very slow hour with very little distance covered.
Wednesday I felt much better and did a nice 1.5 hours on a bike that I haven't been on in a while...
Beargrease is to ride...I'm pretty sure I had a smile on my face the whole time. I love that bike!
Tomorrow should be a lot of fun, even if I still have slightly tired legs. I am racing the 6 hours of Pando and it's going to be nice to sleep in and only have to drive 30 minutes to get to the race. Initially I was racing solo but my schedule has changed a bit. I'm racing Ore to Shore the following week so I figured it would probably be more beneficial to race duo at the 6 hour race so that I can get some hard efforts in and not be completely wasted. That's the plan at least!
