I've been sworn to secrecy but I can tell you this. It's going to be fun, and it's going to be a workout. I did manage to snap a few pictures when Scott wasn't looking....bahahahaha!
The start (imagine snow)....hammer time!
This part dumps you into a bit of singletrack with a few little climbs (imagine snow).
Both Salsa and the Ada Bike Shop will be on hand with lots of Mukluks to demo. And THERE WILL BE SNOW!!! At least I'm hoping so. The weather forecast for Thursday thru Saturday is for temps in the low-20's. We are supposed to get 6 inches Thursday night and more on Friday. Woo hoo!!! I never, ever, ever thought that I would be wishing for snow, but having a snow bike has completely changed the way I feel about winter. There will be plenty of coffee, hot chocolate and hotdogs after...which incidentally are three of my favorite things :-)
Speaking of hot drinks....after our race course recon we headed over to East Grand Rapids to get some coffee. Some kind person left their lock, and we gladly slipped it over our seats to detour thieves.
No one could figure out how to get this lock loose :-)
I was watching out the window the entire time. If I even saw someone trying to take my Mukluk I would tackle them full on!Scott was nice enough to transport my latte home....
Tomorrow is the first spin class of 2012 at the Ada Bike Shop. 6:30 p.m....be there!!!
