I've been pretty good about not getting too cuh-razy before races this year, but after my blog post yesterday I went back to bed and had a crazy pre-race dream. It's been a while since I've had one. This dream was slightly different then the normal ones, where I usually miss the start of the race because I'm looking for a sock, or where I'm racing my bike in a house. This time I was racing in Wisconsin (on the 9-Mile course) and I lost my hydrapak on the course. And in my dream I was dying of thirst. So while I was bushwhacking through the weeds to find it I also noticed that I was accidentally racing with gears in the SS division....yikes! I think I must have been pedaling in my sleep too because I woke up in a full sweat.
I wish I could say the rest of my day was more relaxing then my dream..but it wasn't. Lots of last minute errands, cleaning and typing up instructions for our dog sitter. Naomi goes over to my parents house but we have a dog sitter stay with Ben. Right now my parents house is not puppy proofed at all, and there are too many shoes all over the place for Ben to find. Basically it's his favorite place to visit...because it's one giant puppy playground.
Oops...more updates later. It's time to go up in the air!
