Whoa...

It just hit me hard that I have a ton of things to do before I leave for Texas. Luckily it's a rest week, so while I will still be working out it won't be as intense. One thing high on my to do list is to find a sleeping bag that will keep me warm at night. Sure we are sleeping in the desert, but I learned my lesson at Old Pueblo last year. There I was all excited with my shorts and tank tops and what did I get? Snow!!!

Another thing that I need to get is a new gear bag that will hold all of my stuff. Last year the zipper on my duffle broke half-way through the season, and I still used that bag all season long. Clothing would constantly fall out, and I would just stuff it back in! I'm not doing that again this season, and will be on the hunt for a cool and very durable bag with multiple compartments. I like lots of pockets :-)

Right now it's a little after 9:00, and I'm going to bed. I can't believe it. I never thought it possible, but I think my coach has cured my night owlish habits. Some of the workouts that I've been doing have been leaving me very sleepy afterwards. Granted most of the time I stay up later then this,  but not half as late as I used to! And lately I've been falling asleep the moment my head hits the pillow. Shocking!!!

Night, Night!!! :-)

well...might not have enough pockets but a military surplus duffel bag will hold a ton of stuff and best part...no zippers.

I hear you there is nothing worse then finding ouu you lost 1 glove in the driveway because your zipper was broken. After that happened to me I picked up the Modular Hauler 4 System from Mountiansmith. A place for everything and everything in its place.
