It's a good thing I love my mom, because she's not the best invalid to be around. It's really bugging her that she can't work out like she normally does and I have to hear about it. Hmmm....she kind of reminds me of someone else that I know :-)
Ironically enough it was working out that caused her foot troubles in the first place. I think I mentioned this before, but my mom became an actual ninja in her forties. One day she was telling my dad that she wanted to try a karate class over dinner and the next thing I knew she was testing for her black belt. One day she was sparring with another lady and got a karate chop straight to the bone that was so hard it cracked her foot.
The rest of this week is going to be doubly busy. I have some hard workouts to nail, and it's time to start working on my nutrition plan for my first race of the season so that my coach can look at it and give me the thumbs up or send me back to the drawing board. I can't believe that it's coming up already. I've been trying NOT to think about it to much, but now I'm starting to get a little nervous.

Good luck with everything, sounds like you have you're hands full. When you get that nervous feeling, take the time for 10 deep breaths, it does wonders.
Your mom is awesome. Ninja Mom. Sounds like a strait to dvd Disney movie!
I would never be nervous about bike racing if my mom was good at karate. You will do just fine.

Your mom is the coolest.
Naomi is cool too, but not as cool as my dogs!
P.S. I am so damn tired of this winter!!!
