Christmas in April!

No, seriously, it does feel like Christmas. And not just because I'm getting packages.

I just got back from walking Naomi, and it started snowing. Enough is enough!!! I'm sick of posting about the weather...but it won't warm up here.

Even the bad weather can't dampen my mood today though. The coolest bike company in the world just sent me a really sweet bike and I can't wait to ride it. I have to send a huge thanks to Ted for building it up today. Velo City is hopping right now, and I know he's really busy. I plan on making it up to Ted this summer though. He and my friend Sarah are having a baby in May, and I am offering free babysitting hours whenever they want. I already have big plans for the baby and me....and those plans involve a burley and hill repeats :-)

Typical Chick?

Do you really want to go there?? I think not :-)

But, because it's snowy and cold out, I will answer your post.

Yes, Slingshot is a cool company...and they always will be. They make bikes that are quite different from the industry norm, eh?

That being said, the bike that I just got from Titus ROCKS!!! I'll post pics of it soon so be sure to check back.

Nice attitude duf-anonymous!
Go blog somewhere else.

Sorry.
New stuff is always cool. I can't wait to see the new bike. I loved my Titus, but had to give it up for the singlespeed. Maybe I'll go back there some day!
I misread the last part of your note and was very surprised to see the words "baby and me . . . burley!" Wow.
The weather is so crazy here now. And like you said, I am tired of complaining about it too.
P.S. Tried to honk at you and scott and toni on Saturday but was too far past when I noticed your little peleton!

Allan- Great idea!!! Do we need to bring pillows and blankets or do you have a guest bedroom? Seriously, rescue us!!!

Brian- I almost considered borrowing a ultra sound picture from Ted and Sarah to post for April Fool's day, but I couldn't bring myself to even joke about it.

The next time you see us on the road you should let us motor pace off of you :-)

The bike is very sweet! 16.49lbs.
I am done with putting my greasy hands all over it!

I do have to say one of the finest bike's that Danielle has let me build and lightest. Can't wait to touch the ones coming to my door step.

Ted,

Two Racer X's coming your way. You'll see them any day now!

With the Manitou/SunRingle/Hayes group, I'm guessing both those puppies will be pretty dang light.

I would be glad to motorpace your group anytime; if I'm in the car, I think I can stay up with you! :^)
16.4 lbs? That is road bike light. What, did they just take out a few tubes or leave off one wheel? :^)
